Huaringas Sacred Lagoons  (04 Days / 03 Nights)

The Huaringas is a circuit of 14 lagoons, located in the Huamaní Mountain Range, at 3,950 m .a.s.l., pertaining to the Province of Huancabamba, and which were converted, since ancestral times, into one of Peru’s most magnetic places, due to the energetic potency and healing and magical powers they concentrate, according to what thousands of visitors and knowledgeable people in Andean esoterism, say.

However, there are two lagoons preferred by the healers and shamans, to do their healing work: The Shimbe Lagoon, in which flourishing baths are performed, and the Black lagoon, where all kinds of healing and magic are done. We organize this esoteric tour from the locality of Huancabamba, with a stretch by bus and another on horseback or walking, which allows us to get to know typical places, villages and hamlets, while we contemplate beautiful Andean landscapes.

PROGRAM

DAY 01          Piura / Canchaque / Huancabamba

• 7:30 a.m.: Departure on a bus from Piura , to go to the city of Huancabamba
• 10:30 a.m.: Arrival in the locality of Canchaque ( 1,300 m .a.s.l.), in a district with beautiful landscapes, known as the Peruvian Switzerland. Then, we’ll ascend to the Oriental Cordillera ( 3,000 m .a.s.l.) and will go down to get to the city of Huancabamba ( 1,920 m .a.s.l.)
• 2:00 p.m.: Arrival in Huancabamba and transfer to your hotel
• Lunch on your own account
• Free afternoon to rest or walk around the village
• Dinner on your own account
• Hotel night in Huancabamba.

DAY 02           Salalá / Las Huaringas Lagoons / Horseback Riding or Hike / Rituals and Flourishing Baths

• Very early breakfast
• 5:30 a.m.: Departure by bus to the hamlet of Salalá
• 7:30 a.m.: Arrival in the hamlet and horseback ride or hike to the Las Huaringas area
• 10:30 a.m.: Arrival at the Las Huaringas lagoons (Shimbe and/or Black lagoons), considered as the most potent and with healing virtues, where we’ll participate in a ritual activity, with a Master Andean Priest or Shaman (Prayer, Flourishing Ceremony and Offerings). Option to take a healing bath, in their cold waters.
• Lunch on your own account
• 3:00 p.m.: Return to Salalá
• 5:30 p.m.: Return from Salalá to Huancabamba
• 7:30 p.m.: Arrival to Huancabamba and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account
• Hotel night in Huancabamba.

DAY 03          Tour to Sóndor / Cascade of Citán

• Breakfast
• 9:30 a.m.: Departure on a bus to the District of Sóndor, enjoying beautiful inter-Andean landscapes
• 10:30 a.m.: Arrival and start of the short hike, along the Infiernillos Valley , all the way to the place where the Cascade of Citán is located, in the Curlata Gorge
• 2:00 p.m.: Return to Huancabamba
• Lunch on your own account
• Free afternoon
• Dinner on your own account
• Hotel night in Huancabamba.

DAY 04          Huancabamba / Piura

• Breakfast
• 8:00 a.m.: Departure on the bus from Huancabamba, to the city of Piura
• 3:00 p.m.: Arrival in the city of Piura and transportation to the airport or bus station.
