Cusco lives the New Year´s festivities, with much happiness and emotion, as there is an overflowing joy in the city, during the Easter and Christmas celebrations, as well as on New Year´s Eve, in which the night life increases, in discotheques, pubs, “peñas show” and special social festivities promoted by the catering companies of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, with dinner, cotillion, light, color and sound, dance floor, varied orchestra, drinks, “free cork”, etc.

We organize a combination of the celebration, with the main tourist services, like the City Tour and Machu Picchu with overnight stay, securing a two way bus – train connection, in Ollantaytambo´s train station, to go and come back.

New Year in Cusco PROGRAM

December 31st City Tour and New Year´s Eve Celebration

• Transfer to your hotel, coca leaf tea and acclimatization
• Free morning and lunch on your own account
• 1:45 p.m.: City Tour, visiting the Cathedral, Temple of the Qorikancha, Saqsaywaman, Q´enqo, Tambomachay, Pukapukara and the Qosqo Native Art Center
• Dinner on your own account

• 10:00 p.m.: Transfer from your hotel to the New Year´s Party, with dinner and cotillion. Enjoy the best party, in an atmosphere of light, color and sound, with dance floor, varied orchestra, drinks, “free cork”, etc.

• Return to the hotel, on your own account.

January 1st Cusco / Machu Picchu, with Overnight Stay

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 10:30 a.m.: Departure from your hotel, on a tourist transportation, to Ollantaytambo´s train station
• 12:58 p.m.: Departure of the local train bound to the village of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes)
• 2:24 p.m.: Arrival in Machu Picchu Pueblo and accommodation at a hotel
• Lunch on your own account
• Recreation at the local thermal baths (Recommended and on your own account)
• Dinner on your own account
• Discotheque (Optional and on your own account).

January 2nd Tour to Machu Picchu / Return to Cusco

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tourist bus ride up to the Incan City of Machu Picchu, Wonder of the Modern World, located among abrupt mountains and almost inaccessible places, presenting a set of houses, squares, stairways, towers, walls, water fountains, ceremonial places, such as the Intiwatana (Solar observatory), sacred temples and benched terraces, with an incredible urban harmony, displaying the Incan engineering’s high level of development.
• Bus ride down to the village of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes)
• Lunch
• 2:55 p.m.: Departure of the local train from Machu Picchu Pueblo, to Ollantaytambo
• 4:30 p.m.: Arrival in Ollantaytambo and transfer to the city of Cusco , on a tourist bus
• 6:30 p.m.: Arrival in the city of Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

January 3rd Departure transfer

• Breakfast and transfer to the airport or bus station.
