Climate
The city of Huaraz has a mild, fresh and mainly dry climate, with maximum temperatures of 23.9˚ C (75˚ F), an annual average temperature of 16.2˚ C and a minimum temperature of 7.1˚ C (44.8˚ F). The rainy season runs between the months of November and March.

By Plane
The city of Huaraz is connected to the city of Lima, by means of LC Busre Airline´s regular daily flights, through Anta´s airport, in Carhuaz, 35 minutes from the city of Huaraz.
By Land
There is a daily tourist and local bus service, with different frequencies and schedules:
- Huaraz / Lima: 408 km.
- Huaraz / Trujillo: 335 km.
- Huaraz / Cajamarca: 636 km.
